Spacious room, great club lounge with nice selection of food and beverages
Staff at reception rather unfriendly. Staff coming into the room despite 'don't disturb' sign on the door.

comfortable stay with fine views of the danube river
I loved how central the hotel is, making it easy to stroll to popular spots like the fine St Stephen's Basilica just a bit over half a kilometer away and the picturesque Szechenyi Chain Bridge, only around a 5-minute walk, and the river view from my room was lovely.

Overall it is a high-class and nicely appointed hotel and we enjoyed the stay, the location was magnificent comparable to nearby cafes. Everyone who works in the venue is hard-working and fabulously helpful.
Too expensive breakfast, it should definitely be improved.

Location ,location ,location. The hotel is nothing special and does not look and feel like a real five star hotel. Nice, but ordinary, would not choose it again, try the Mariott .

The room was situated on the top floor, which gave a chance of a great view- panoramic, you could argue- on the fortress, the Danube river and the Chain bridge.
As i have already stayed at this Hotel before, i have been under the impression that it changed significantly in comparison to approx. 4-5 years ago. It seemed to me that it wasn't as luxurious as it has been back then... The facilities looked much smaller than before, especially the Lobby Bar. Also, as i recall, the swimming pool had a glass window overlooking on the Danube river. Now it is not the case, and as much as it has all the subfacilities there you may need, it is all in walls...
